Cup of Grace...

According to Google Translate (gotta love that company)  Coupe de grace means "cup of grace".  or in a literal sense it means something totally different according to Dictionary.com

literally, blow of mercy

1.       a death blow, especially one delivered mercifully to end suffering.

any finishing or decisive stroke.

I think that each of us, inside of us has "a cup of grace".  A holder of elegance or beauty of form, manner, motion, or mercy, clemency or pardon.  I do think that with that piece of us comes the ability to give a "blow of mercy" or a removal of a burden or evil.  My hope is that by naming this blog as I have, I will be able to share more of the "grace" of my life and less of the "coup de grace" that some may afflict on others.

My hope is that this blog delivers a "coup de grace" on a portion of my life that has been very private, but, my girlfriends want me to share more of with them and now, with you the reader.  Hope you enjoy!

A girlfriend made a request of me.  Start a blog. About you, your life and your point of view.  So here it is..  I wanted to say "wasn't being a writer enough?" Single mom?   I am sure that she would say "no".  So, here on these posted pages will be quips, quotes, pictures and ideas that make me laugh, cry and remember.  I promise not to post pics of my child or boyfriends to be or in the past. (The lawsuits do get messy over these things...tee hee)
